KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 22 - American celebrity Paris Hilton has abruptly cancelled her planned visit here Thursday after being denied entry to Japan Wednesday.The 29-year-old actress and singer tweeted that she was flying back home after Japanese authorities stopped her from visiting the country due to her drug charge in Las Vegas.
"About to take off. Going home now. So disappointed to miss my fans in Asia. I promise to come back soon. I love you all! Love, Paris," she tweeted before boarding a flight leaving Japan.
She was scheduled to launch her new fragrance called Tease and her Paris Hilton Fall/Winter 2010 handbag collection at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
Tokyo was the first stop on Hilton's planned Asia tour, during which she planned to visit Kuala Lumpur and open a new retail store in Jakarta.
An international news report quoted Hilton's publicist Dawn Miller as saying the celebrity socialite planned to make the trips at a later date.
"Paris is very disappointed and fought hard to keep her business commitments and see her fans, but she is forced to postpone her commitments in Asia," Miller said.
