Dr. Conrad Murray Discusses Michael Jackson’s Death

Tuesday, January 11, 2011
He’s being charged with killing Michael Jackson, and Dr. Conrad Murray shared the details of the final hours of the late King of Pop’s life.
Murray explained that Jackson was so desperate to sleep that he was getting injections of propofol, an anesthetic, on a regular basis.
And on June 25th, Murray claimed he did everything he could to help Michael sleep, including rubbing his feet, putting skin lotion on his back, and giving him a dose of sedatives.
Finally, Jackson became frustrated and told Conrad that he would not be able to perform his 50-concert run in London if he couldn’t sleep.
Murray says Jackson demanded his ‘milk,’ a nickname for propofol. Conrad gave him 25 milligrams, half his normal dose, and watched him for a few minutes.
After returning from a visit to the bathroom, Conrad found Jackson unconscious and immediately began trying to save his life, but to no avail.
