LINDSAY LOHAN OFFERED PORN JOB!
FIVE (MORE) RIDICULOUS LINDSAY LOHAN EXCUSES
You see, Lindsay is the same as ever—the girl's one excuse away from getting out of gym class for good.
Fresh from V.F.'s fabulously written gospel of Ms. Lohan (cheers to the author, Nancy Jo Sales), we've extracted Lindsay's most intriguing excuses to add to our ever-growing list.Who said the chick wasn't good at thinking on her feet?
1. "I have to support myself. I have to pay for my apartment. I have to pay for food."
Lindsay missed seven of her court-ordered classes on alcohol education, insisting that she thought she could make them up at her leisure. But it also implies that missing the classes was key to her survival. Somehow, we think making time once a week for a class isn't going to deplete a food or money supply—especially when you're making as much money as Lindsay. If that were the case, college students would be starving in university libraries, living off sips of Red Bull and half-eaten bowls of Easy Mac.
2. "These were my college years. But they were in the public eye. I was irresponsible. I was experimenting. I was doing certain things that people do 10 times more of when they're in college. And I'm not making excuses..."
We're sorry to say, but we have two interns here at the A.T. who are in college, and neither of them 'fess to knowing anyone who does 10 times more [insert Lindsay activity of choice here]. Jaded Linds is using the old "other people are doing way worse!" excuse, which doesn't really help her case. The girl who got a DUI and the boy who got 10 DUIs both still got DUIs.
3. "Everyone I knew was going out, so what was I gonna do, sit home by myself?"
Hard-core partying never looks good on anyone, especially not on club haunter Lohan. But does Lindsay really expect to get sympathy for her clubbing ways by playing the lonely girl card? We should feel bad that she just can't stand it to stay in and watch a movie! No, no, no! If she's going to keep her friends, she must not sit home by herself! And how dare we expect her to!
4. "I was 18, 19—with a ton of money—and no one really here to tell me that I couldn't do certain things..."
Chalk this one up to tugging out heartstrings. We actually think this one's less of an excuse and more of a pained confession. Lindsay, sadly, never had a stable support system. As the article goes on to report, Lindsay's temper tantrums would result in mom Dina doing "whatever she wanted her to." Score one on the accurate excuse chart for Linds.
5. "I was young and curious and thought it was like, OK, 'cause other people were doing it and other people put it in front of me."
It's probably true. But life is full of peer pressure, and one can only blame others for one's misjudgments so many times. After all, it's one thing to have something put in front of you once, but every repetition becomes more and more the fault of the offender. Dabble away, Lindsay—it's understandable, given your precarious position as a youngster influenced by the perils of Young Hollywood. But know that it ain't just other people to blame.
Bonus!
6. "'I think the root of her problem,' said one of her friends, 'was every single person telling her how amazing she is, kissing her ass all the time. It was like, If everyone thinks I'm the s--t, then I must be.' "
We're including this one, by one of Lindsay's anonymous pals, just because of how true this must be. Lindsay, baby, we understand you more and more each day.
LINDSAY LOHAN OUT OF REHAB - FIRST PIC
The 24-year-old free woman was carrying around a Rockstar energy drink, Ray-Ban sunglasses, and the new V-MODA Crossfade LP headphones in white pearl. Get it, girl!
Later in the day, she stopped by the Santa Monica DMV to try to get her driver’s license back!
Yesterday, Lindsay was released from rehab after spending over three weeks there.
LINDSAY LOHAN LEAVES REHAB
A source tells E! News that LiLo was discharged from UCLA Medical Center on Tuesday, roughly 23 days into what was originally going to be a 90-day stint in the hospital's neuropsychiatric treatment facility.
Sound familiar?
Then again, there's been so much back-and-forth about Lindsay's early release, it almost seems as if this is a long time coming. The actress' camp, headed up by manager Lou Taylor, has been working overtime for the past two weeks to spring LiLo from the facility.Dina Lohan tells E! News that they will be issuing a formal statement in the morning.
L.A. Superior Court Judge Elden Fox apparently signed off on the move today, despite saying earlier that he wasn't going to issue a ruling until Wednesday morning, when all parties are due in court for a hearing.
Speculation had been mounting almost as soon as she entered treatment that the rehabbing actress would get sprung early after Judge Marsha Revel recused herself from the case, paving the way for a new judge to lay down what was expected to be an eased-up, much more lax version of the law.
But then word leaked out that her mental state wasn't nearly as precarious as first thought, which would theoretically negate the need for such intensive treatment. If Lindsay's mental health was indeed misdiagnosed, there was no need for her to remain at UCLA 24-7.
Instead, Fox will most likely order Lohan to continue outpatient treatment at UCLA.
A hospital spokeswoman would not comment, citing patient confidentiality.
In any case, the early discharge is no doubt music to Dina Lohan's ears, as the responsibility-eschewing mother last week took every opportunity to tell the American public that she believed her daughter did not belong in rehab. Not so Michael Lohan, who said that Lindsay not only belonged there, but that Dina should join her, as well.
In any case, Lohan's discharge was preceded by some strenuous behind-the-scenes machinations, as her release required new evaluations and Fox's signature on the probation modification.

LINDSAY LOHAN COULD GET OUT OF REHAB EARLY...
Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan, fresh out of jail on charges of violating her probation, may be released early from a court-ordered stint in drug and alcohol rehabilitation, a prosecutor said on Thursday.Danette Meyers, who recently prosecuted Lohan for violating probation on drunken driving charges, told celebrity news website RadarOnline.com that the "Mean Girls" star may be able to avoid her full 90-day sentence in rehab.
"My understanding from conversations with Shawn Chapman Holley (Lohan's attorney) is that Miss Lohan could be released early from the treatment facility," Meyers told RadarOnline.com. "It is looking as if that (early release) is what the health care professionals are going to recommend."
Meyers said she was unsure exactly when Lohan might get out and that a release date would depend on recommendations from people treating the actress. The prosecutor further said that Lohan may have to undergo "follow up treatment."Lohan, 24, rose to fame in Disney movies like "Freaky Friday," but began to see her career fall apart as Hollywood's nightlife caught up with her. In 2007, she was arrested for drunken driving and cocaine possession and served 84 minutes in jail along with being put on probation.
In July, a California judge sentenced Lohan to 90 days in jail and another 90 days in rehab for missing alcohol education classes imposed as part of her probation on the 2007 charges.
Her prison sentence was cut to 13 days due to overcrowding and on August 2, she left a jail to enter rehab at a facility at the University of California Los Angeles, where she is currently.
