David Beckham is playing hardball.

The soccer star is suing In Touch Weekly after the tabloid ran a cover story of him that claimed he had steamy affairs with hookers.

The lawsuit, filed Friday in Los Angels Superior Court, accuses Delaware-based Bauer Publishing Company LP of libel, slander and intentional infliction of emotional distress as a result of the article, The Associated Press reported.It also names 26-year-old Irma Nici, who claimed she was a former "high class call girl" who slept with Beckham five times in 2007.

According to the In Touch article, the busty brunette said Beckham paid her $10,000 to spend one night together. Nici also said he had sex with a second prostitute.

Beckham, 35, has been married to wife and ex-Spice Girl Victoria, 36, for 11 years. They have three sons together.

Beckham's publicist, Jeff Raymond said a lawsuit is also being filed in Germany, where the gossip magazine's parent corporation is located.

In Touch has not yet commented.

While Nici has gone into hiding, The Sun reported that Beckham's lawyers plan to serve the Bosnian-born, ex-hooker a $7.9 million claim for damages. They will also demand a front-cover apology from the tabloid.

"David is prepared to scour the earth for this woman, who seems to think she could make up a complete fantasy that is extremely hurtful to him and his family," a friend told the newspaper. "She has treated his wife and children with such disregard he is not prepared to let this one go."

Despite Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher's public show of unity, the pair can't seem to shake off allegations of the actor's infidelity.

Now it's claimed Brittney Jones, the 21-year-old who dished about her alleged romp with Ashton to a US tabloid, had set out to sleep with the star after becoming "obsessed" with him.

"She told me once that he was by far the number one celebrity she'd like to have sex with," an insider told RadarOnline.

"And she is totally the type to do it."

Brittney told Star magazine she slept with Ashton on a sofa at the home he shares with Demi, days after meeting him at Lucky Strike Bowling Lanes in Hollywood.

As RadarOnline.com revealed, Jones had “always been obsessed with Ashton” pre-dating the scandal that has engulfed Hollywood’s most picture-perfect couples, on the eve of their fifth wedding anniversary.While Kutcher and wife Demi Moore put on a united front, those close to the mistress are painting a picture of the woman at the centre of the allegations – allegations which one source close to Kutcher says are true.

“She definitely is a hard partier and always drank a lot,” said one source who knows her.

According to the insider, Jones has been “couch surfing” from house to house, living with various men in her life.

“She seems to have fallen out with her mom and sister and just lives off of her boyfriends,” the source said.

Jones went public in a Star Magazine cover story, claiming she had a one-night tryst with Kutcher, 32, after meeting him in July at Lucky Strike Lanes in Hollywood.

Kutcher was with his wife, her daughter Rumer Willis and some friends, at the time.

Despite being surrounded by his family, Jones alleged Kutcher still struck up a conversation with her, so she slipped him her number on a cocktail napkin when he left.

A few days later, Jones said the actor brought her back to the sprawling Hollywood mansion he shares with Moore, where they had sex on the couch while his wife was away.

And a source close to the situation confirmed to RadarOnline.com that Kutcher had strayed.

Still, it was a one-night stand, according to sources.

Even a trail of text messages between Kutcher and Jones have surfaced – published by Star magazine -- chronicling the saga of their “relationship.”

In one Brittney asked, "Whens the next time you're gonna have an empty house?"

To which Ashton replied, "Not sure maybe the end of the month” -- noting at the time he was "w/ my daughter."

While Kutcher has denied the tryst, for those who know Jones, who has now employed a manager and publicist, the explosive revelations come as no surprise.

Said one source: "She once told me he (Kutcher) was by far the number one celebrity she'd like to have sex with.”

David Beckham has reportedly denied allegations that he has cheated on his wife Victoria Beckham with a $10,000-a-night prostitute.

Earlier today, US tabloid In Touch Weekly claimed that Beckham had an affair with 26-year old former hooker Irma Nici and allegedly paid her $10k for a night of passion… putting the supposed details of his 'infidelity' on their front cover.

Nici reportedly told the magazine that after an hour of foreplay, she had sex with Becks for 15 minutes, describing it as 'nothing freaky.'

She has also claimed that David participated in a threesome with her and that they had unprotected sex.

The prostitute, who rated Becks 7.5 out of 10 as a lover, said of their alleged affair: "It was a high. All of these women dream of being with him, and I got to hook up with him."She continued: "It was very exciting. He was very gentle and kind. He knew what he was doing."
