Insyallah.

There can be no better place to show off your new swimsuit than Miami Beach, yard from Ocean Drive. So it is no accident that the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim happens in that very spot, moments from the water.

Since it began six years ago, the event has become the place to showcase top swimwear and last night it was the turn of Ed Hardy.

Strutting their stuff: Models show off Ed Hardy swimwear on the catwalk at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim in Miami Beach

The funky label, fast becoming a firm favourite of celebrities in the U.S., produces clothing based on the designs of renowned American tattooist Don Ed Hardy.

Models, many with feathery fascinators in their hair, strutted up and down the catwalk in ultra-skimpy bikinis and corset-style, studded tankinis.

Hello sailor: The range, which started only eight years ago, features some very bright and colourful designs

Ed Hardy clothing only started eight years ago when the tattooist decided he could set up a line based on his art.

Christian Audigier, formerly of Von Dutch, licensed the rights to produce the line in 2004 and it now has shops across the U.S., Asia and Europe.

As with his former employer, Audigier has targeted celebrities and helped build it into a multi-million company.

Madonna has been spotted wearing an Ed Hardy baseball cap and Whoopi Goldberg in Ed Hardy shoes.

Spain's World Cup championship isn't the only thing Javier Bardem and Penélope Cruz have been celebrating lately.

It turns out the longtime couple tied the knot earlier this month at a friend's home in the Bahamas, Cruz's rep confirmed to E! News Tuesday.

You'd think we'd have known, based on the sheer hotness that must have been radiating from the West Indies that day, but no.Per Cruz's rep, the bride wore a gown designed by pal John Galliano and only family members were in attendance at the small ceremony.

The Spanish-born beauty was the target of pregnancy rumors last summer, and we're thinking she's going to be either confirming or shooting down more of the same sometime soon.

Cruz, who counts Matthew McConaughey and Tom Cruise among her ex-beaus, started dating Bardem in 2007. She played his sexy-nutty ex-wife in Vicky Cristina Barcelona, for which she won an Oscar, a year after Bardem won his for playing the oddly coiffed killer in No Country for Old Men.
