With her new supersonic breast implants, keeping a tiny strapless bikini in place was always going to be a tough task.

And it's something Heidi Montag found out to her cost when one of her pneumatic breasts nearly escaped from her top as she splashed around in the Costa Rican surf.

The 25-year-old star looked vaguely horrified at her bikini malfunction as she frantically tried to keep things covered up.

Luckily, she recovered enough to walk down the beach displaying her surgically enhanced figure in blue bikini top and red patterned bottoms with no further mishaps.

The slip up may have given Montag more reason to regret having made her breasts so big - she recently confessed she is already thinking of having her G cups reduced.

'I’m desperate to go back to normal,' she confided to U.S. magazine Life & Style. 'I’m downgrading and going a little smaller, to a D or a double D.

'I'm obsessed with fitness but it’s impossible to work out with these boobs. It’s heartbreaking. I can’t live an everyday life.'

The former Hills star was also wearing her nose plaster to keep things in place following her infamous ten plastic surgeries in one day last November.

Montag underwent a mini brow lift, Botox in her brow and frown line area; a nose job; fat injections in her cheeks, nasolabial folds and lips; chin reduction; neck liposuction; had her ears pinned back; a breast augmentation revision; liposuction on her waist, hips and inner and outer thighs; and a buttock augmentation.

The star had headed to Costa Rica to be in supposed seclusion after announcing she was officially divorcing her husband Spencer Pratt who she married last year.

However, the star has clearly not escaped the paparazzi, being photographed with her estranged husband swapping their dogs in a bizarre custody deal, as well as sipping cocktails and posing in the surf.

The star who is going through a divorce with fellow reality star Spencer Pratt has spoken out in an interview with Life & Style, about how she still has to wear tape on her nose, nearly a year after she had rhinoplasty surgery.

The star explained: “Except for filming and a few photoshoots, I've had my nose tape on 24 hours a day since November. It takes a year for your nose to heal.

“The last time I didn't wear tape after surgery and my nose changed shape. The tape is supposed to keep the swelling down and hold my nose in place the way Dr Ryan sculpted it. Dr Ryan always said I was his best, most cautious patient, and I'm not taking any chances now that he's gone.

“I don't want my face to fall off like Michael Jackson's.”

Just one week after the untimely death of her plastic surgeon, Dr. Frank Ryan, Heidi Montag says she regrets having her plastic surgery spree that included 10 procedures performed in one day.

The former star of "The Hills" recently spoke to Life & Style and revealed that she now wants to have her outrageous G-cup implants removed.

"I'm desperate to go back to normal," Montag, 23, admits to the magazine. "I'm downgrading and going a little smaller, to a D or a double D."Though it's been more than nine months since she went under the knife, Montag says she is still in severe pain and her body has not acclimated to the over-the-top breast augmentation.

"I have major anxiety about it," she confides. "I was taking painkillers but they weren't working, so I stopped. It hurt either way,"

In addition to the physical pain, the busty blond reality star's new assets have prevented her from properly hugging her four dogs or wearing anything that isn't a custom-made design."I'm obsessed with fitness but it's impossible to work out with these boobs," Montag says. "It's heartbreaking. I can't live an everyday life."

With the passing of her confidant Dr. Ryan, Montag fears that she will be stuck living in her cartoon-like figure forever.

"I feel trapped in my own body," she confesses. "There's just no fixing it. Dr. Ryan knows the work he did, he knows everything."

According to Life & Style, Montag has been shopping for a new surgeon in South America.This may explain why TMZ cameras recently spotted her in Costa Rica. However when her soon-to-be ex-husband Spencer Pratt was also seen on the same hotel premises, skeptics were weary the fame-hungry couple were pulling yet another publicity stunt surrounding their split.

However, Montag was quick to squash the rumors, telling People.com that she agreed to have Pratt join her to help with her move. But things suddenly turned sour when news broke that Pratt was planning on writing a tell-all about their relationship and was trying to sell several sex tapes to Vivid Entertainment.

Although she initially denied the existance of a sex tape, Montag now admits that she's not 100% sure it wasn't made.

"I'm not aware of his filming me, but I wouldn't put it past Spencer," she tells Life & Style. "He's a sneaky guy and has little cameras everywhere that he got from China."

Having the world witness her bedroom antics wouldn't be the only reason why Montag would be embarrassed if the tape were actually released.

She says, "I'm mortified at the thought that people could be looking at me naked before I had the surgery."

The row over the alleged sex tape featuring Spencer Pratt and his soon-to-be ex-wife Heidi Montag grew today as it was alleged there are two versions: one before she had her extensive surgery and one after.

Sources close to the deal have told celebrity website TMZ that in some of the footage The Hills star probably makes a lot of different facial expressions and in the rest 'not quite so much'.

Montag, 23, underwent 10 procedures in just one day in her quest for 'perfection' last November.

'I just got off the phone with Spencer Pratt about a sex tape with Heidi Montag,' he said.

'We are in early negotiations to possibly come to terms for a deal.'

Spencer, 27, added: 'I've been making films since I was in the seventh grade. I'm looking forward to people seeing my directorial debut.'

News of the sex tape came just days after Spencer revealed he is writing a tell-all book about his relationship with Heidi.

Heidi has threatened to sue over the book and it seems she is not happy to hear about the sex tape either.

'Heidi's really p***ed off,' the couple's friend Cougar Zank told a celebrity news blog.

'She denies there is a sex tape. She's furious that Spencer would try and embarrass her like this.'

Heidi's pal Jennifer Bunney added: 'She would never put out a sex tape of herself. She's extremely religious and concentrated on getting her life to where she wants it to be.'

Montag filed for legal separation from Spencer in June this year, citing 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for their split.

This week it emerged that she has served him with divorce papers. The publicity hungry couple, who were married for 15 months, are expected to finalise their divorce on Valentine's Day next year.
